MEDIA ADVISORY Montgomery County Recycle Right ‘Oops Tag’ Program Highlighted at Whitman High School in Bethesda on Thursday, July 15
The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will highlight its Recycle Right “Oops Tag” Program to inform residents about materials that should not be placed in recycling bins with a media availability from 5-7:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 15, at Whitman High School in Bethesda. DEP Director Adam Ortiz will be among those available for interviews.
The Recycle Right “Oops Tag” Program, which started in May, involves DEP teams inspecting individual residential recycling bins looking for items that are not recyclable. If any non-recyclable materials are found, inspectors will tag the bin, identifying the items that cannot be collected.
