Inc. 5000 names Maryland’s fastest growing companies in 2018

The recent announcement includes 17 businesses in the top 500, as well as 57 newcomers to the 2018 list. Nearly 2,000 jobs expected through More Jobs for Marylanders

Of those companies, which include firms both from Maryland and other states, 49 have filed official enrollment applications, and are projecting to create nearly 2,000 jobs in total. Also, the program has been expanded to include five additional counties where manufacturers creating new jobs will receive the highest benefits. More Jobs for Marylanders incentivizes manufacturers to create new jobs in the state. Guinness enters craft beer era with new Maryland brewery

Twelve solar powered pirate ships are officially open for business at the Inner Harbor. The fleet, owned and managed by the Living Classrooms Foundation , will employ and inspire 50 young people with job training and hands-on education. Baltimore’s own Premier Rides helped design the ships, which can hold up to six pirates at one time.
