Ribbon-Cutting Celebration for Willow Manor at Fairland Senior Housing Community

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, County Council Vice President Tom Hucker, Department of Housing and Community Affairs Director Aseem Nigam, East County Regional Services Director Jewru Bandeh, and other officials will participate in a ribbon-cutting for Willow Manor at Fairland, an affordable housing community for persons age 62 and older, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, at 13605 Robey Rd. in Silver Spring.

The event is open to members of the media only to keep numbers of attendees small to minimize the potential for public health risks. All attendees must wear face coverings. Safe distancing protocols will be enforced.

Ceremonies will take place in front of the Willow Manor at Fairland apartment community, which is adjacent to the East County Regional Services Center, East County Community Recreation Center, and Briggs Chaney Flash station.<... more
