Man says couple robbed him of puppy at gunpoint in Prince George’s County
Everyone who has a dog, loves their dog. But police say one couple fell in love with a puppy so fast, they ended up taking it from the dog’s owner at gun point.
The victim told Prince George’s County police that he was walking his puppy named Lobo in the area of Kent Village Drive and East Ridge Drive in Landover, Maryland, when a couple drove by in a beat-up looking Ford Crown Victoria.
The car pulled over just ahead of the couple and a woman got out and started rummaging through the trunk, police said. When he walked past, the woman approached him at gun point and demanded the dog, the victim told police.
The victim tells police he tried to wrestle the gun away from her when a man got out of the car. When he let go of the gun, he tells police she pulled the trigger several times but the gun wouldn’t fire. She then scooped up the puppy and the couple sped away, according to police.
Police are looking for a gray Ford Crown Victoria that has a black front fender and hood, and a Virginia license plate. The only description of the woman is that police say the victim told them that she had a facial tattoo. Police say these suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
