The 11th Annual Tribute to America’s Veterans Concert will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, in the Buffalo Soldiers Great Hall of the Silver Spring Civic Building in Downtown Silver Spring. Vietnam veteran Wayne Miller will be the keynote speaker, County Executive Marc Elrich will speak and Chou Chou and the Imperial Palms Orchestra will be the featured performers.

“Saluting Our Vets As Time Goes By: A Celebration of Valor” will include a special tribute to service members who were killed in action in the Global War on Terror and to all who have served in the military. Display cases will include photos of some of the 22 Montgomery County residents who were killed in action in Iraq or Afghanistan. There also will be photos of veterans from the County and of others who have served and are currently living in the County.
