Anne Arundel County crash kills motorcyclist, closes Md. 4

A motorcyclist is dead following a crash in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, on Monday morning.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. on Md. 4 near Talbott Road in Lothian, Maryland, Anne Arundel County police said.

The person was driving a motorcycle in the northbound lane when the crash occurred.

Northbound lanes of Talbott Road remain closed for a police investigation, with traffic being diverted onto Md. 260/Chesapeake Beach Road. Southbound lanes are blocked south of Md. 408 for traffic control.

The WTOP Traffic Center recommends Md. 2 as an alternative route.
