She added: “We believe it is associated with MS-13 and we are taking whatever precautions are necessary to protect the children and teachers and staff in these schools from this sort of activity.” Alsobrooks called the news conference one day after the 16-year-old Parkdale High School student was stabbed multiple times in a wooded area near the school. Police took more than half a dozen males into custody for questioning. Earlier in the week, a 17-year-old student was shot and wounded by two other teens in a parking lot on the campus of Oxon Hill High School, according police.
