2 men dead in Prince George’s Co. shooting

WASHINGTON — Two men are dead after a shooting in Bladensburg, Maryland, Wednesday evening.

Police were dispatched to an apartment complex on 57th Avenue near Emerson Street just after 5 p.m., according to Capt. Tyrone Collington, Bladensburg police deputy chief. When police arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound on the sidewalk outside of a car. Inside the car, police found a second victim.

Both men died on the way to the hospital.

There’s no information available yet on potential suspects or a motive for the shooting. Prince George’s County homicide detectives are handling the investigation.
