County Executive Leggett Joins Pointe View at Aspen Hill Topping Out

County Executive Leggett, joined by representatives of Pennrose Properties, LLC, participated in a topping-out ceremony today to recognize the completed building frame at Pointe View at Aspen Hill, an affordable apartment building for older residents. The event took place at 3136 Bel Pre Road in Silver Spring.

The project involves the acquisition and new construction of a 120-unit, mixed-income senior apartment property. Montgomery County provided a $1.7 million loan through the HOME Investment Partnerships Program to support the acquisition and new construction. The County also is providing a PILOT (Payment in Lieu of Taxes) for the affordable units.
