Grammy-winning Jazz Singer Dianne Reeves Headlines Silver Spring Jazz Festival on Sept. 8

A five-time Grammy Award winner, Dianne Reeves is headlining the 15th annual Silver Spring Jazz Festival on Saturday, Sept. 8 at Veterans Plaza in downtown Silver Spring. 

The free, outdoor music festival will take place from 3 to 10 p.m. at the plaza in front of the Silver Spring Civic Building, which is located at 1 Veterans Place at the corner of Ellsworth Drive and Fenton Street. 

Reeves, the recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Jazz Masters award, will be performing at the festival along with a variety of outstanding local artists, including the Jazz Academy of Music, The Charles Woods Quintet, Akua Allrich and the Tribe, and Marcus Johnson.
