ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — A fired U.S. Naval Academy professor has appealed his dismissal and accused the college of trying to silence his public criticism of it. The Capital reports Bruce Fleming filed his appeal Tuesday with the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board. Jason Ehrenberg is the civilian English instructor’s lawyer and says it would take several months before a decision is reached.

Prince George’s Co. prosecutor: High school stabbing tied to MS-13

She added: “We believe it is associated with MS-13 and we are taking whatever precautions are necessary to protect the children and teachers and staff in these schools from this sort of activity.” Alsobrooks called the news conference one day after the 16-year-old Parkdale High School student was stabbed multiple times in a wooded area near the school.
