Two people shot at a restaurant in National Harbor

WASHINGTON — Two people were shot early Thursday morning at a restaurant at National Harbor in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Police have a suspect in custody.

A spokesman for Prince George’s County Police said a fight broke out in the restaurant in the 180 block of Fleet Street, which police did not name. When security went to escort a man out, he pulled out a handgun and fired, shooting two people. Police responded around 12:45 a.m.

Both victims are expected to recover.

The suspect fled but was arrested a short time later by police. Police have yet released the identity of the suspect.
