Department of Liquor Control Helps Raise $6,500 for MCPAW
The Montgomery County Department of Liquor Control (DLC) and its partners, Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Breakthru Beverage, raised $5,000 during a September campaign to support the Montgomery County Partners for Animal Well-Being (MCPAW). Another $1,500 was raised from donation boxes placed at 27 DLC retail stores, during the month of September, for a total of $6,500.
“The DLC has made great strides recently both within its own walls and in community outreach efforts,” said Robert Dorfman, director of the DLC. “With a recent push to have the department operate like a business, there have been substantial internal changes including an overhaul of the warehouse, competitive pricing initiatives and an emphasis on customer service.
