Armed suspect in barricade situation with Prince George’s police
WASHINGTON — An armed suspect who may have set a fire at a home on Surratts Road in Clinton, Maryland, Tuesday morning is now in a barricade situation with Prince George’s County police, authorities said.
The suspect has gone into hiding in the woods nearby, officials said.
As a result, Surratts Road is closed at Hospital Drive and police are asking that the public steer clear of the area.
Officers received a call around 8 a.m. reporting a breaking and entering in the 7500 block of Surratts Road.
Firefighters extinguished the flames at the house.
There was no information about any injuries.
